Iomega (IOM-NYSE)
by H.D. Brous (28, Nov. 12)
We are reiterating our Buy rating and raising our target
to 45 (from 34), representing a return of 61% from
current levels. We believe the near-term horizon is
extremely compelling and that the stock may engender a
premium valuation beyond that which would normally be
accorded to the company's Zip-driven business. The
key here is the rollout of n.hand. The addressable
market for n.hand (hand-held electrical devices) is
believed to be larger than that for Zip and Jaz (personal
computer users) and, equally important, has been
validated by the existence/necessity of many alternative
storage devices (i.e., flash memory).
