About AdDuplex AdDuplex is the largest cross-promotion network for Windows Phone and Windows 8 apps empowering developers and publishers to promote their apps for free by helping each other. AdDuplex was established in January 2011 in Vilnius, Lithuania. As of June 2013, more than 3,000 apps actively use AdDuplex to gain more visibility. AdDuplex publishes regular reports on the breakdown of devices (and countries / languages) active in the Windows Phone ecosystem based on data drawn from its advertising network. The latest report is based on data collected from 701 Windows Phone apps running AdDuplex SDK v.2. The raw data analyzed was collected over the day of June 7th, 2013 (UTC time). The AdDuplex data presented essentially represents a sampling of the active installed device base for Windows Phone, albeit one biased to those users who are more likely to install apps, on May 3rd. AdDuplex can only track devices where an app with its advertising SDK embedded is being actively used. This means high end devices, such as the Lumia 920 and HTC 8X, tend to be over represented in such data sets because owners of these devices are more likely to install apps. ### - Eric -
