I don't want to be available all the time or online all the time. I see too many people who are concentrating so much on their phone screens they fail to feel the air around them. That's not my bag. I don't allow incoming calls on my cell unless it benefits me. I use my computer to do work I feel is important. A smart phone for me will only be a tool to make my life more efficient. I don't want to become obsessed. I need a fair amount of power, but so far that's not my biggest complaint about my iMac. I think that new Mac will be fine for the vast majority of users.
