"The money invested in freedom". The Kurds got freedom and they're VERY happy. The Sunnis LOST freedom and are now considered lessor humans. The Shiites are now in control, but they can no longer go to the local market without fear of being bombed. If that's freedom I think a majority of Iraqis would probably prefer that they never got it. (Except for the Kurds)
