OS X Tiger 10.4 was great in its day, but Snow Leopard was more capable and I consider it the least buggy of all the OS X releases.

Mac OS 9.2? Hehe, it was good until OS X 10.2 or so came along, but after that there was no comparison. The old Mac OS was so crash prone. I became an expert at managing extensions (using Conflict Catcher) just to keep it running reasonably well, but it was nowhere near as stable as OS X.

Good riddance to OS 9, 8, 7 and 6. May they rest in peace.
