Your entire argument is "Bush was worse", yet you're telling me to be "objective". The whole idea of objectivity is to look at things without political bias. So why not look at this issue reasonably? No....my point is that bush was doing worse and you were not one of his critics on the subject. Now suddenly you have found concern...obama is briefing congress, going through FISA...bush was wiretapping folks without any oversight, court or otherwise...i think obama is the more responsible president. Second point...when there is an attack in this country, people like you will lead the charge attacking the government for not doing more...the boston incident showed us that...so the man is damned either way...he probably figures he may as well err on the side of people's safety. Bush or Obama -- ought to be getting a list of every phone call made in US, for whatever reason, just raises some serious questions related to the 4th Amendment. It isn't something we should discount willy-nilly. As to it being a classified program, I'm not sure what the point of that is.
