IMHO Version 10.1: "Puma" was a beta, not ready.

Version 10.2: "Jaguar" was the first really viable OSX.

Version 10.3: "Panther was pretty good. I would have preferred to not upgrade.

After that I think, due to the iPod and iPhone etc they took their eye off the ball.

My WILD GUESS is that Ive did not like all the ding dongs, knick knacks, and gee gaws, but I think he's like me, he probably stated his opinion, they ignored it, he was patient, and eventually they realized he was right. He's a quiet thoughtful thinker who was up against arrogant, pushy climber guys like Forstall.

I was in the same situation in a dot com company, arrogance took it down, and it didn't have to happen, the solution was so simple and inexpensive but they ignored it and plowed forward to their demise.

I hope I'm seeing what I think I'm seeing. Much more intelligent thinking about stability and usability rather than flashy useless junk stuff in the OS.

Fingers crossed.
