David, I believe we think alike on America and hope my brief comments were not misleading. I believe it enjoys such an abundance of blessings because (1) the Founding Fathers called upon God and recorded it in the Declaration of Independence, which is the founding document of this nation and makes it clear that our rights and liberties originate in God and nowhere else. (2) Because this country, as you pointed out, has been a fountain of missionaries and Bibles and Gospel literature to the rest of the world (3) Because this country has not yet denounced Israel or turned its back on Israel. We need God's help and mercy today, more than ever, it seems, because of the corruption that has invaded the bureaucracy and many government and financial positions in this country. John
