Sorry, I don't mean to be so negative about the new Mac Pro. I hope it sells like hotcakes and the pro user community ends up loving it.
Computers are a very small part of Apple's revenue at this time but there is tremendous upside available and they are still an important part of the ecosystem.

I think the new Mac Pros will sell like hot cakes. Yeah, the "pros" that need them will buy them but many people who don't need them will buy them as well. Think "status symbol". The machine is just cool looking. Those people who buy sports cars and drive the speed limit with buy them. Those people that buy sports cars and don't drive the speed limit will buy them.

All of the PC manufacturers are going back to the drawing board trying to figure out how to build a round PC.
