Greetings Cousin Ike:

I can see now if you are to stay alive and well to advise all of us on the Idea thread, I'm going to have to attempt to change your diet.

If I'm correct about the Halwa (and I suspect the spelling is the only difference in what I know and what your're eating ) is indeed loaded with fatty acids. The fat grams for a normal size portion will approach "pat pending".
This is the LARGE number at the end on a sticker for an item that isn't patented, but has a patent pending.....ggggg

While not the same, I have a recipie for a substitute , which will make the fat from the sesame seed disappear, cause it eleminates the sesame.
No one in my family cares for it except me (halwa, or the substitute) so I will have to locate it.

I don't know what the corresonding name for the garbanzo bean spread is but I also have a low fat substitute for it too.

Have a good weekend.

Regards-----Nemer
