Now that PVCT has locked up the patent for RB for 17 years lets look at what that means to future income. Consider that eventually they get five regional deals worth about one billion in sales each per year. This is just hypothetical speak. Now if they get 25% royalty payments then they would receive 1.25 billion per year in licensing fees. Now say your negotiating with a big pharma for the whole thing. They would prefer to have it all for a low price, but hey, you just monetized the company through regional deals and now you got to pay more.
