Do witch burners have feelings? Since I am not a Christian, I don't feel I have to turn the other cheek, Jim, and I think it is important for a wide historical understanding that everyone on earth realize that there is often an agenda in organized religions of most kinds to dominate and subjugate women. I think once you have killed someone you should probably die, unless there are extremely mitigating circumstances, but that is because I save my compassion for people who are gentle and revere life, and I believe they should be able to move through their own lives unhindered by violence.
When the N.R.A. was an actual association of RIFLEMEN, I had compassion for its members. After George Bush resigned in disgust, and it became more of an organization for the militia movement in America, I became more concerned. Of course, because I do have compassion, I especially feel it for members of the white underclass, who feel like an endangered species in America, threatened by everyone who is doing better, and especially by more energetic minorities.
I read an interesting book review lately, in fact, which postulates that most militia members are the descendents of small farmers, and small farmers got a hugely raw deal in my opinion in this country. However, I don't think hatred is helpful, so I would like to HELP these people in a more meaningful way, through reempowerment not using weapons, and therapy or something that you would think silly, find their way again so they stop acting out against the rest of American society. |
