"Rational people understand that the wars were necessary and were good decisions" No, Dave, only you and a tiny minority of Bush apologists believe that. The vast majority of Republicans now think the wars were a waste, all Democrats and Independents do. We can't wait for Obama to wrap up Afghanistan and end our last foreign war. May it be our last for a good long time. I don't see him starting any new one's, although McCain begs him to. Bush made Obama possible, what with the dumbass, pointless wars and collapsing the economy.
