Quoting proverbs again? ----> "Like a thornbush in a drunkard's hand is a proverb in the mouth of a fool."
Proverbs 26:9.

Do we really see these as some divine sayings with some Creator's hand behind inspiring them or the folk wisdom that comes out the mouths of primitive stiff necked wandering goat herders 3000yrs ago ? Such moral superiority, such spectacular panache expressions of deep wisdom and these are what you ponder over every sunday? Really deep & profound, how could we ever get by without these tremendous sayings?

"As a dog returns to his own vomit, so a fool repeats his folly."
Proverbs 26:11.
