The DIP isn't DIM. They know they've been lumbered with these assets, and they're not very happy about it. They can't leave anything of value for anyone else if there's nothing left to leave but worthless junk, can they? Be that as it may, you should write a letter to the Judge explaining why he SHOULD do what you think he WON'T do. I'm sure he'd appreciate some corrective guidance from a man of your experience.
