I've heard the current hypothesis is the CD4 issue with CE9.1 was most likely due to mfg process changes in scale-up, not with the molecule itself ... just as you alluded in your note.

I don't have my notes in front of me, but it sure looks like CE9.1 is dead anyway you look at it and SB/IDPH appear to have made a decision to push forward with what they think is a superior product at the expense of a year or two delay to market.
