Just go back to your own link where you said they'd explained irreducible complexity and there you have examples of it. However, if you want a nice example just consider the basic mechanics of life. You have encoded information and nanomachines designed to read that information and use it. How do you get that by chance? You don't. The encoding of information does nothing without the mechanism to read and use it. shouldn't let bacteria exist ... I suggest you slap him in the face with that when you get a chance.
