I don't know whether WMT did this before Obamacare, but they are certainly more likely to do it now than they were five years ago. You figure that out.

As to split shifts, I would point out that Walmart doesn't "make" anyone work. If a person working at Walmart wants to get a job somewhere else, they're free to do so.
