I suggest you check out a powerline device, IF:

1) your base internet connection is a wired cable connection, and

2) if the intended network is within your house, and

3) if your wiring is in decent shape, and

4) if the distance from each device to the power box totals less than 300 feet, then

I strongly recommend eliminating wireless and using a powerline device. I have being running same for about 2 weeks now for 2 PCs and an internet phone with all functioning great and PC speeds at 187 to 255 Mbs (usually above 225).

I have streamed many TV shows and movies (~100G worth) with no issues. My network is a USB printer to PC 1, PC 1 to a PLA4201 to powerline; PC 2 to a PLA4201 to powerline; a cable moden to linksys router and a linksys internet phone device to router; router to PLA 4205 to powerline.
