I think he meant writing naked calls. I know of someone who lost a fortune writing naked calls. Not the same thing as buying a call, where your downside is limited to the price of the call. Anyway Ill let Mr. TraderDave explain it since with a name like TraderDave I assume hes more of an expert than I am. TD, can you explain in detail please though Im still a little fuzzy on it myself.
