The decline of the middle class correlates perfectly with the decline of unions.

Workers need representation or business leaders will exploit them like they did prior to unions e.g. the early 1900's. Prior to unions workers were treated like dogs and forced into very unhealthy working conditions and worked at very low wages.

Life was horrible for the working person prior to unions. Unions got us the 40 hour work week, and weekends off.

I would think an old fellow like you would know that business will take advantage of a person every chance it gets?

Workers need representation!
