Angry? Not at all, this is just another case of Stephen Meyer & Discovery Institute trying to get paid handsomely disguising creationism as science & as always once again fundamentally dishonest.

Deducing the events of over half a billion years ago & beyond is always difficult when evidence comes exclusively from biological and chemical signatures in rocks with very sparse fossils. That the first multicellular animals of this early period would possess certain strangeness & pose problems with classification is only natural. Its generally believed the earth was just coming out of an earlier "snowball" stage so seeing back before these eras becomes extremely difficult.
