If you can find a line in my post that called you a pessimist, then please do bring that line to my attention. If having a pessimistic target makes one a pessimist (which appears to be your logic) then surely eating a large meal must make one a fat person. Are you saying that this kind of logic is necessary for "having eyes that can see" ? Sadly, I don't have pychologists, doctors, mentors and all the things that some people may consider necessary. But I know my probability distributions (including the Gaussian you bring up repeatedly). If I said something about 1478 (which I do not recall) it would help if you bring the message/context to my attention. SMILE, GRIN etc etc :)
