Congratulations mm and welcome back.

I am with you on the NSA issue. What I am struggling with is that how do we ensure our security with terrorists lodged amongst us here in the US. The NSA claims that this surveillance saved lives of innocent citizens by thwarting attacks. So which US value is more important; protecting innocent lives at the cost of some privacy rights or should we say that right to privacy supersedes the right to life.

On the issue of the economy, I recall your concern about the deficits. But now the OMB says that deficits are on the way down and that this is due to increase in revenue intake from more people getting work and consequently paying their taxes.
