If we cut the MIC back to size historically we'd be near where we were when Clinton left office.. But unfortunately McCain and friends never have a problem spending and overreaching even further. Always another war to fight. I hear with the new 700 mile fence and all the new border agents we'll have enough coverage to have a border agent every 150 ft or so. Given so many of the agents self identify as Mexican before American plus are corrupt to begin with this a big part of this added expense is pure pork designed to benefit crony capitalistic contractors in the MIC but do little to protect Americans IMHO... This asshole gave me all sorts of problems back in 2005 at the Las Cruces border check point on I-25... I had a hunch something was off with him and his 'buddies' and turns out he was crook.. . bordercorruption.apps.cironline.org
