I think we should stay out of Syria. It is a tribal war between two 13th century cultures. What is very dangerous is we are arming the Sunnie rebels via the Saudie's and Russia is arming the Shia via Iran, and Assad.

What is ironic, is that Bush spent trillions disarming the Sunnie in favor of the Shia and taking away the counter balance to Iran which was Iraq, and now we are going to spend trillions more disarming the Shia in favor of the Sunnie?

Would someone please explain the logic of all of that to me? Thank you.

Imagine what we could have done with those trillions of dollars in aid to education, health care and the poor!!
