I'm much more in agreement with your idea for the government to step in - but they won't. Not in this political climate. As to orphan drugs; there are incentives for orphan drug status now in current law. BUT sliver in any case wouldn't qualify as an orphan drug by definition. .........This is a hugely important topic and should get way more of our attention than it does. I'm glad you brought it to our attention but I just don't think silver is the answer. I could be wrong.
