We're down to one "sure thing" as far as pitching goes and that's Cliff Lee. Our once "lights out" closer has blown his third save this week and is starting to look like the rest of the losers in the bullpen. Miraculously, the Phils pulled out two of those three BS for him and he got 2 wins, a reward that I don't think should be given to a pitcher in this situation. Michael Stutes has been nothing short of abysmal in his last two appearances and I would be shocked if he isn't sent down to the minors. Hamels has more losses for any starting pitcher in the majors (11), with an ERA well over 4. Hope he's spending his new contract money wisely. On the bright side, our hitting is improving steadily. Michael Young and Ben Revere are finally starting to post the numbers that they are capable of and Ryan Howard has been phenomenal. If Utley and Ruiz, both back from injuries can get on track, we might have the ability to score more runs than our pitchers allow.
