It is hard to know what is right and wrong in both human behavior and designing social systems no matter how hard one tries. I admit I never could figure it out other than the basics, like trying to be as kind as possible at all times and even then one can never be sure they are even doing that right?

I always wondered, what would have been the correct behavior in the south in the 1930's regarding segregation. Does one say nothing and keep the peace with one's neighbors and family. In which case they provide support and perpetuate a system terribly harming so many black people, or does one say something in defense of the Blacks in which case all of their neighbors and family get upset and the person becomes an outcast.

I see injustice and poverty everywhere I go and wonder what to do?
