Usually I do not comment on the current issues much, preferring to lurk but it is so fascinating to see the reactions and comments from Americans compared to other nationalities.

I do not mean this as a put down of Americans, as a whole I have found them to be amongst the most generous and friendly people I've known. But certainly they view the world with a biased lens.

Scanning the boards and corresponding with friends and associates I note the majority of Americans think Edward a traitor or at least guilty of crimes against the country. This contrasts with the non-american view of concern about big-brother and a1984 scenario and him just standing up for truth and honesty in government.

A comment on our board from ski

<<It's curious.... Reviewing this conversation, it appears that people like me recognize better the complexities of the issue... and speak in terms of live contradictions and paradoxes.>>

Not picking on ski but this is a typical response, it isn't simple, we have to trust people of higher education and those in positions of power because they can better deal with the complexity.

Anyway, enough of that I will let Mq debate further, he is much better at it than I.

What I want to know is What about the sell off in gold?? It hasn't been mentioned much on this board. Is there any evidence in H.K. of overwhelming demand of physical as before or have the people been scared off?
Charts are scary, long term uptrend is broken or threatening it. Are you hedged?
