Bob, Everyone was able to make a case for Western Digaditch in the 50s, too. You should go back and see if you could find some of Fred Fahmy's notes on this thread scolding me for daring to think that WDC in the 50s wasn't "different this time." -g- Quantum seems to be the one everyone thinks will survive right now. It won't. DD cos. always leapfrog each other. 2 years ago, Quantum was the "dog" that would never catch up.

O.K., that being said, I don't see Quantum as a great put stock. It was in the 40s, but I missed it because WDC and ReadWrong were better. With downside probably to the mid-teens, it doesn't fit my concept of a homerun candidate. And who knows, things may be different for them this time. (the worst bet of all). -g- MB
