NuStar GP Holdings, LLC (NYSE: NSH) - closed out starter position w/ fast swing trade gain
MDU Resources Group Inc. (MDU) -NYSE - Peeled off 50% of remaining shares @ $25.15/share
Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) - Peeled off 50% of position
Devon Energy Corporation (NYSE: DVN) - close to starting a position. ( Great value per new McDep report)

With the market +107.39 pts, I am taking profits in several positions to raise cash as I am expecting lower prices and better value opportunities in the weeks/months ahead. I closed out NSH taking my quick profit and believe I can re-enter this one below $24.00/share (my previous buy was @ $24.82/share). This stock has a high beta and trades on low volume. Long term, the value premise discussed here should eventualy move the stock higher (perhaps into $32.00/share price range) as it tracks NS. The stock up over 5.22% today so took my quick gain.

Started to peel off shares in positions acquired in 2012 and 2013 that have increased in price and/or have a low yielding dividend (less than 3.5%). ADM and MDU fall into this category. I peeled off 50% of my ADM shares @ $33.17/share (acquired 7/2012 below TBV @ $26.97/share). Although the GN value is around $36.00/share, I kept 1/2 of the position hoping to see this value. Will buy back MDU shares below $20.00/share.

Devon Energy Corporation (NYSE: DVN) has moved up on my buy list along w/ many other companies recently. McDep has a new updated report on DVN's (6/2013) that makes a compelling argument that this stock is undervalued by over 90%! I will be taking some of my cash on the next sell off to start a position in this one.

Because the corrections are so strong and fast, (10% off sale in days), booking profits on these rallies and hording cash for these sell offs seems like the appropriate plan (much different than the buy & hold in the 80's & 90's). My plan is to try to book at least 25% of my value gainers now so I can re-deploy these funds into these new value bargains like DVN. There are many other candidate stocks on my watch lists coming into pretty good value levels too.

Stay tuned.
