Hi Wayne & Wats, sorry to take so long getting back, got a wee
bit side-tracked yesterday. You guys have some good pics there.
I've held both GIT & QTR in the past ( before the run-up of course,
keeping to my trading strategy!). One stock I keep holding onto
in desperation is Abacus Minerals (AMC.V) They will be doing a DD
program in SA shortly into the new year. Kaiser's still got it on
his bottom fish list for '98. A well under-valued company has to
be MAN on the TSE. They have some decent reserves and should
bounce back once the POG recovers. An oil related stock that I've
followed for some time is Anadime, used to be on the ASE but
recently moved to the TSE. It's one for a longer term, good
management and steady growth.
Just to keep in DAK theme, if this deal can be pulled off, we
should see some value put our shares. Jeez, am I glad to see
that gravel deal scrapped (hope it's scrapped!) Only problem
I see here is the amount of dilution that may have to take
place to close this deal. The debt financing is "ok" with me
provided we have the cash flow to service it. Best of luck
to you guys.
