David, Yes, I think they will report earnings for the Nov. quarter ... my guess is 5 cents. That is assuming that they don't kitchen sink the results. With the way memory prices are going the smart thing would be to take a big hit, write inventory down to a very conservative price and try to show better results going forward. I think Mr. Appleton's ego is too big (or maybe it's Simplot's) for him to say hey we were wrong to build inventory, guess prices didn't go up after all (duh), time to hit the showers and then we can drive on. So yes, I think they will report earnings. But that's history Dave. Right now, as we speak they have a revenue run-rate (memory only) of $300M and an operating cost structure of about $390M. This ain't pretty ... no wonder he's lambasting the Koreans. regards, Mike
