ARRS tried to get Moxi set-top box chipsets for X2 from Intel, instead may get a competitor. X2 ipTV will be available from Comcast in 2014. Motorola Home set-top boxes for X2 has to have more features to be competitive using ARM.(cost effective). X2 still has to depend on cable plant data transmission methods. And programming available from ARRS/Comcast website library for paid movies. ipTV will be rebroadcasted from internet websites. So, the set-top box market will be sorted out during trial at Comcast. Internet market will still be dominated by ARM because for the data compression built in to save time..
