PGLC is looking pretty green around the gills in the current downdraft affecting all E&D plays strapped for cash.

Inspite of recent forward looking company guidance in the form of a press release previously noted by Lone Clone, previously announced milestones have been missed 1st half of 2013. Additionally, forward looking statements by management buttressed by a visible campaign of public relations Seeking Alpha writers producing on cue, all indicated production beginning early in 2014 is now pushed back to "maybe by 4Q2014" type official utterances.

Disappointed speculators appear to be abandoning this stock in clumps of higher volume than 10 day average B/S activity indicates as more normal.

When PGLC was first brought to the attention of SI'ers here, the share prices were much higher. Now in the
low 30-cent range, conservation of cash/reducing loss/speculator risk management activities are now more visible and more pronounced, as paper gains uncomfortably evaporate ever more quickly.

I am still in this play but my cost basis is zero due to predictable use of capturing the spin-off shares, and freeing up trading capital after doing so.

See no reason to panic and sell when cost basis is zero. Kind of fits your strategy of buying at zero, eh, Nevada9999? -g-
