That's the same issue Tim. If you're not insured and get stuck with long term care guess who pays? The tax payer.

Sure the tax payer is getting stuck with the bill, but the uninsured person isn't sticking them with the bill (in many cases, but not all cases), the government is.

If Bob robs Mary to pay for something for Paul, Paul isn't sticking it to Mary, Bob is.
