Let's think for a minute, why would that be ...because the entire story was a fiction & made up at the behest of a later King's orders to his priest/scribes? Of course we've never witnessed any event like this ever have we, of intentional histories & fabrications, not once in the Vatican in Rome in the last 1500yrs?

Moses went up the mountain for 40 days & 40 nights after parting the Red Sea & drowning an entire Egyptian army yet no archaeological evidence has ever been found. Yes , we can get you a copy of 1001 Arabian nights with Ali Baba & his magic lamp too.
