Gay marriage: I don't care to get into the weeds of the process. I am not a lawyer.

But the issue is soooo simple if one applies logic.

Gays prefer their own gender. They have no choice. But in every other way they want the same things all of us want: love, and marriage and all the right society gives to married people.

So an intelligent society recognizes this and allows them to marry just like anyone else and have exactly the same rights.

Try a little empathy and put yourself in their place. What would you want?

It is a clear civil rights act and all Republican politicians will eventually embrace it.

I can never figure out why so many of you take indefensible positions time after time, like global warming. Soon everyone will recognize global warming it will be so in our face.

To blow off the scientific community is usually the wrong thing to do.
