I have been reading messages pertaining to a possible buyout of aipn or at least jv partnering. It seems to me that several factions must be in agreement before this can happen. Aipn owns 70% of the company who has the licence for the concession. The other 30% is owned by a few Kazak companies. I assume all companies involved would have to be in agreement, before any agreement can be finalized. I think there is a possiblity that aipn may partner or sell more than one part of the concession to different oil companies. If this were the case, this could be an even bigger picture than it first appeared to be. Also, I am reminded of the article in the Russia Today newspaper indicating that Kazakstan has oil reserves second only to Saudi Arabia. Quote from Russia Today Newspaper article of November 28, 1997:"Nazarbayev told a news conference that recent research showed his country had oil reserves second only to Saudi Arabia and was looking for fresh export routes apart from a Caspian pipeline and a deal with China to build a pipeline there." The information mentioned above can be found at: russiatoday.com On an earlier date, it seems to me they were rated fifth. Has some of the siesmic information coming from the concessions indicated that there are more and more oil reserves? Could some of this information be from the aipn concession? The recent information seems to suggest the Wave Tech results(at least that) will be the next thing released. With AIPN presumably not having any exclusive rights contracts to adhere to it would seem when Wave Tech is done they would be free to announce the results. The posted earlier stated MILL said Wave Tech is back in US and doing the analyzing now. Along with this is one good source indicating Wave Tech was surprised how much oil was there and other info suggesting Wave Tech is very close. Similar to the info that was being rceived the end of Oct and beginning of November that the PA was close to done. It seems Wave Tech is close to done. Hearing the MASS of Chikuduk is 2-3 times the size of Tenzig and there may be other large possible field within the concession the results should be quite promising. Anywhere from 4 billion to 12 billion brrls would be a good estimate. Whether a major jumps in soon with those results known is likely also. Maybe not for LARGE sum but then again maybe it will be. More on what that would do to stock price later. I think a JV is still close or done. Rcohen expressed how majors were clamoring for a piece of Kaz and their report stated it was iminent within 3-6 months. We shall see where it all lands and when soon enough. EOM As time goes on, a lot of our questions will, of course be answered. In a time of instant gratificaztion, this baby if trying our patience. In my opinion, many of the different senarios are being played out behind the scenes. December and January could very well provide us with many of the answers we have been waiting for.
