You might think about what you said for a few moments...

While there's no telling about the future, the premise of a rebound to new highs taking as long as the decline doesn't stand up to scrutiny in the gold market nor any where else.

In 1987, the decline lasted about 3 months as I recall (in equities), culimating in the crash. The rebound took two years.

Etc. No correlation -- too many factors which vary from month to month, market to market, era to era.

Anyway, think about your comment about hedgies being short instead of long this time and how that will affect the PM market going forward.
