Oh, that's right, they just want to take things back to the middle-ages for things that don't affect THEM.

It has NOTHING to do with Christianity. It has to do with PERSONAL RIGHTS.

Right-wingers LOVE personal rights when they affect THEM, but if somebody else wants personal rights that don't agree with theirs they DON'T consider them personal rights.

Like home schooling. Right-wingers think THAT'S an incontrovertible personal right for any ignorant, drunken, abusive or deviant parent. They'll even march in the streets to protect it.

But, if two gay people want to get married after 40 years together that's NOT a personal right. A LOT of your fine Christians would be willing to march in the street down to the home of that couple and then march to the nearest tree to hang them.
