Having had the back of my head beaten into the pavement before, I know exactly how he got them because I got them, too.

The testimony was that Zimmerman's back was wet while his front wasn't. If you ever played outdoors as a kid you realize that sometimes you get grass stains and often (perhaps most of the time) you don't. And in fact, I have never had grass stains from a sidewalk at all.
