Actually the report that Martin had damage to his knuckles appears to be in error. The prosecution made a point that the only damage to Martin's hands was a small abrasion to a finger.

Now Zimmerman claims that Martin was slamming his head on the concrete. I suppose it could be that he meant his head was being slammed into the concrete as a result of the punches. From his statement, it sounded like Martin was more hands on than that, but it could be he was just sloppy about how he framed it.

That's the problem, at face value Zimmerman's story doesn't add up.
