A person who is merely being "followed" cannot presume his or her life is in serious danger and start beating the shit out of the follower.

Oh BS. It was dark......he was not in his normal neighborhood. He was being followed by a crazy white guy. Any normal person would be on edge and experiencing fight or flight.

And once again, you want so badly to defend Zimmerman you are making it up as you go along. You don't know if Martin started the fight nor are you willing to acknowledge that the person who suffered the violent attack was Martin..........and he died from the violence.
