Mr. Good never saw the initial confrontation and attack

Doesn't matter - there was a fight - observed by Mr. Good, Zimmerman was getting the worst of it - his jacket slide up exposing his gun - when Trayvon saw the gun he tried to grab for it - Zimmerman got it and shot him. The semi auto action did not cycle indicating Trayvon probably had a hold of the top or the slide so it couldn't cycle the next round.

You must be able to relate very well to Zimmerman.
I do - trained, prepared and serious about protecting those around him - I would let him watch my kids - trayvon - never.
