That's why you substituted "black guy" for "cracker" instead of using another term. She understood what she meant. I did it to show you that from her perspective, a perspective that I understand, the usage isn't racist. Martin wasn't making a racist comment. He was characterizing the situation in his common lingo. You could say that Martin's language showed that he was carrying a chip on his shoulder, or that he was paranoid, but that isn't racist.
