You admit early education is important, but say it can happen at home. I agree. But not everyone will teach their at home kids, or thinks it is important.

Tim doesn't think early education is important. So if society does not teach Tim's kids they will grow up without that benefit.

I agree with everything you say about parenting and pre school. Everything, except for one point that always seems to differentiate liberals and conservatives.

Helping little kids get an education does not encourage parents to teach or not teach their kids. In fact it has no effect at all.

Parents either will or will not teach their kids.

But you seem fine with letting the kids go without the pre school to punish the parents. Liberals would say: "it is not the kids fault their parents don't care". So don't punish them. Besides it is not good for either the child or the society, to let them grow up ignorant.

I see you sent your kids to an expensive pre school. You said it was glorified baby sitting.

Then why did you do it? That seems a logical question.
