hee hee: The gun was between the box springs & the mattress. When the wife was taking the electric blanket off the bed, the cord got tangled around the hammer. She knew that pulling the trigger would release the hammer. So she did. (No joke. I got the TV to prove it.) Despite my numerous letters to the networks, and the press, I never saw a single story demanding better operating devices on electric blankets. <g> Doug
