Technology Stocks : FSII - The Worst is Over?

Joe,

Thanks for all the good articles and information you post on this
and other threads. You have a lot more sources than I do so it is
very helpful to obtain all that information.

I think FSII is going to do well too. It's just a question of when
the tech stocks are going to turn around and start their charge
again. You mentioned earnings in your note so I thought I would
update the stats for the group in this area.

I used Zack's outyear earnings estimates for the following table.
Two of the stocks I did not include, PHTN and SUBN as they had no
outyear estimate. To me, when you look at the low PE ratios, the
stocks are very cheaply priced. All we need is a "push and a shove"
to get them going. What we need to discern is when the next 4/25/97
date occurs (the start of the last runup) so we can climb on board.

Of the 35 companies, 19 have estimated PE's of 11, 12 and 13. Just
like the last runup, they will all participate in the coming runup,
it's just a question of which one(s) will do the best.
